iPhoneX wireless charging speed measured: consistent with the original 5W charging power

As the commemorative product of Apple's 10th anniversary, iPhoneX has been highly concerned by users. Today we are testing the wireless charging function of iPhoneX. After Apple's charging innovation, the wireless charging speed is faster than wired charging.

Since the original charging pillow of Apple will be released next year, this test directly uses the Green Wireless charging board (supporting 10W power) that supports the QI wireless charging protocol, and the charging head is the green dual-port charging head (5V1A and 5V2.4A).

The iPhoneX wireless test is very simple. First connect the green wireless charging pad to the charging head, then put the iPhoneX on it and you can charge it.

When the iPhoneX power is 6%, the wireless charging power is about 4.8W, whether it is 1A or 2.4A USB port, which is close to the original 5V1A charger power.

Continue the wired charging test, access to the 2.4A USB port will find that the power has reached 11W, twice the original charger, the main reason is that the current has reached 2A.

After comparison, we can conclude that iPhoneX does support fast charging, but currently only open wired fast charging, wireless fast charging Apple or technical restrictions, look forward to the official update of wireless fast charging.
