How to open the phone OTG function?

The OTG function (ON THE GO) makes it possible for Android phones to connect USB flash drives, card readers, mouse and keyboard, and many other USB peripherals. It also makes us as convenient as a computer when operating a mobile phone. After connecting the mobile phone and the USB flash drive through the OTG data cable, open the mobile phone file manager, and the mobile phone and the USB flash drive can be used for data transmission.

The first method: open the OTG function by adding code to the bottom layer of the Android system.
Most mobile phone manufacturers disable the OTG function by deleting the OTG code. Correspondingly, adding the support code to the system will enable the function.

method:

The first step is to obtain ROOT permission from the mobile phone;

The second step is to install the Root Explorer file management software.

The third step is to open the Root Explorer manager, open the system/etc/vold.fstab system file with a text editor, write the following code to the file, save and exit, and restart the phone to open the OTG function of the phone.

By adding code, you can make the OTG function easy for Android phones.

The second method: the OTG assistant software is installed to make the mobile phone have OTG function.

The first step, the mobile phone obtains the root authority;

The second step is to install and open the OTG helper APP, connect the USB flash drive or store the hard disk through the OTG data cable;

The third step, click mount to use the OTG function to read the contents of the USB storage peripheral.

The fourth step is to find the U disk connected to the OTG through the installed Root Explorer file manager. File path: root directory /storage/ UsbOtgDrives

Turning on the OTG function in this way does not support connecting a keyboard and mouse.

Both of the above methods can be used to open the OTG function of the mobile phone, but both methods need to obtain the highest permission of the mobile phone, please use it with caution.
